This is a segment provided for Friends of Stacy where everyone is free to share their thoughts, comments, and reviews about Stacy Barthe’s music. Today we will feature a letter we got from our mailing list from Sayonara Ashaheda, a Friend of Stacy member all the way from Malaysia. Here it goes.

Dear Stacy,

I just want to thank you for sharing your talent with the world. Your songs talk to me like no other. Your voice soothes my uncontrollable emotions. You are the calming presence in my life. As soon as I hit the play button on my playlist, I find peace and solace. I know I have a sister in you who knows what it feels like to be rejected, ridiculed, depressed, and confused about life. Like you, I also thought about giving up when faced with life’s hardships. I almost came close to taking my own life. That’s why I feel so blessed that I stumbled upon your songs on the web and the lines and rhythm just got me. I know you do not know me but I felt an instant connection with you.

I always recommend your songs to my friends. And I am just so happy that you get to work with more and more artists because a talent such as yours deserves to be recognized and known all over the world. Please continue writing songs from the heart and singing with that soulful and charismatic voice. Your songs have the power to heal people. I watched the video where you performed with John Legend and you were simply phenomenal. You really have a wonderful talent. I had goosebumps all over. Truly, your talent is unparalleled. May God bless you more. Thank you for the music. I hope to catch even one of your shows live. Stay strong. Butterflies are beautiful and so are you.
